Just as I predicted in last week’s “Red Carpet Round-Up” from the Critic’s Choice Awards, stylists are beginning to step up their fashion game for their clients’ partaking in the “awards” circuit as we inch closer to the Oscars. If you happened to catch any of the Golden Globes last night you probably saw a lot of gorgeous tomato red gowns, stunning black sheaths made edgier with strategic cut-outs or embellishments and of course, a plethora of whimsical mermaid styles…with a few off-the-beaten path choices like Anne Hathaway’s magical white Chanel from house’s SS09 archives and Kerry Washington’s iridescent Miu Miu.
