OH MY GAH…the trailer has finally been released for the upcoming documentary on Carine Roitfeld…former E.I.C. of Vogue Paris, Stylist, Creator of new mag CR Fashion Book and pretty much an international purveyor of style. Directed by Fabien Constant and brought to us by the production company behind The September Issue, we finally get a closer look into the life of one of the world’s most famed tastemakers.

Obvi full of high fashion cameos, expect to see Donatella Versace, Tom Ford, DVF, Bruce Weber, The Kaiser (Karl Lagerfeld), Ricardo Tisci, Alber Elbaz and more. From what I hear Roitfeld will be quite transparent about the issues she’s encountered trying to work with photogs for CR Fashion Book when most of them are already contracted to work with her former employer Conde Nast (the publishing giant behind Vogue and 17 other consumer publications). And I don’t think it’s any secret that the Devil Who Wears Prada, aka  editor of American Vogue Anna Wintour, is behind the drama!

The doc is slated to release in the US towards the end of New York Fashion Week on September 11th…still waiting on word on when to expect it to screen in Canada.
