I love a good shift dress…it has to be the easiest look to put together when I’m pinched for time, it transitions well from day to night and pretty much a apropos for any occasion. This graphic one from Ann Taylor is chic, works on various body types, extremely comfortable  and not at all restricting like other shift dresses can be.

If you’re obsessed with black and white like I am then buckle up babes because I have discovered that majority of  Ann Taylor’s Pre-Holiday collection will be exactly that and I will let you in on a little secret, do not sleep on the pre-holiday line. You will find some great cashmere pieces, a fashion forward high-waisted B&W skirt (you may have seen on my Instagram account), more structured blazers, gorge statement jewelry and accessories, which have been slowly rolling into the stores, but have not yet appeared online. Something tells me they won’t be available long, so if you’re in the GTA area, stop by the city’s largest Ann Taylor location at Yorkdale Mall.
