I’ve been lucky enough to align myself with some amazing companies as a Brand Ambassador but nothing makes me more proud than being associated with a brand that gives back to the community and helps to empower other women. Ann Taylor’s parent company, Ann Inc., has teamed up with Vital Voices to give 50 young women a chance to become an ANNpower fellow and receive leadership training and mentorship from some phenomenal female leaders from across the globe in media, entertainment and business. Usually reserved for only high school students in the United States, this year will mark the first time the opportunity has been extended to Canadians, which is pretty awesome.

The list of mentors to the fellowship recipients is really impressive and includes Award Winning Actress and Ann Taylor Global Brand Ambassador Kate Hudson, executives from Ann Inc in addition to it’s President and CEO Kay Krill, Ann Fulenwider; Editor-In-Chief of Marie Claire magazine, Shelly Lazarus; the former CEO of global marketing & advertising agency Ogilvy & Mather, Alyse Nelson; President & CEO of Vital Voices Global Partnerships and more. The ANNpower Vital Voices leadership forum will take place this year from June 16th – 19th, 2014 in Washington, DC.
Who Should Apply: Girls who are in the 10th or 11th grade at high school in the U.S. Puerto Rico or Canada. *Applicants must apply by Saturday March 1st and fellowships will be announced in April*
