Warm weather, sunshine, chic outfits and a day spent with my gal pal Monica Awe-Etuk of style blog Awed by Moni, pretty much sums up the perfect day for me. I’ve known this special lady for years but our bond grew stronger when we both entered the Blogsphere together roughly a year and a half ago. During her recent visit to Toronto, we headed to our fave stomping grounds in the city, Yorkville, for a proper girl’s day out in our rendition of “Ladies Who Lunch” attire.
After being introduced to 424 Fifth a couple months ago, I have been lucky enough to acquire some fabulous pieces from the brand’s Spring collection. In my opinion, one of the highlights of the line is this leather skirt that I paired with their grey Summer cashmere sweater. With a cheeky slit in the back, this form flattering skirt with laser cut details is the perfect update to the pencil skirt – not to mention a good juxtaposition to Monica’s beautiful tulle skirt. Guaranteed…it will be on repeat this season!
