Having the right kitchen appliances can make a world of a difference when cooking and baking your favourite foods at home. In the latest installment of my Cooking With Cuisinart series with Garrett Tonge and Casie Stewart, we enjoyed a Friday night in at my place and quickly whipped up one of Garrett’s amazing homemade pizza recipes using Cuisinart’s Elite Collection 12 – Cup Food Processor.
For years I’ve watched my Mother bake her famous banana bread and cakes during the holiday season the old school way by mixing all the ingredients by hand, which always appeared labour intensive and time consuming – part of the reason why I refrained from making my own baked goods at home. However, after whipping up a bruchetta pizza and chocolate muffins with this must-have kitchen gadget, I am now armed to take on some more culinary challenges on my own. Want to try out this tasty, quick pizza recipe at home during our next night in with friends? Here is what you will need:
Bruschetta Pizza
3 cups of flour
1 1/2 cups of water
1 tbsp of sea salt
2 tbsp of olive oil
1 block of fresh parmesan
1/2 lb of bacon
6 ripe tomatoes
1 clove of garlic
1 shallot
1 handful of fresh basil
