This is officially my favourite time of year – and NO I don’t mean Winter, but rather “Awards Season” in Hollywood where all the top celebs in movies, television and music receive critical acclaim for their hard work and achievement. And more importantly, when we fashion lovers get to watch them walk down one red carpet after another in mouth watering, confection like gowns and stunning column sheaths. The season actually kicked off two nights ago I guess with the People’s Choice Awards, but I was so highly disappointed with the fashions that it was not even worthy of a post. Using my experience as an avid red carpet watcher 😉 I know that the best stylists have a build up of their top looks for their clients as they go through the award circuit. Meaning the more mediocre looks are chosen early on, for example; People’s Choice, Indie Spirit Awards, etc and they continue to improve and get better leading up to the SAG’s, Grammy’s and Oscars. With that said, here is a round up of my fav looks from last night’s Critics Choice Awards…
