Welcome to my Blog! Happy to have you on the journey.

hello,

Boot RescueWithout fail, every single Winter I manage to ruin at least 1-2 pairs of shoes unintentionally from salt stains and I am sure I’m not alone. Salt and slush seem to be the number one arch nemesis for shoe fanatics here in Canada and it’s about time we put a stop to this, don’t you think?! Most often than not, I purchase a pair of shoes and refuse to buy a protective spray, clearly in denial that the elements of “Old Man Winter” will destroy my newly acquired footwear. Case in point over the holiday break I wore a pair of Manolo’s out in Toronto during the snow storm and came home convinced they would never be worn again due to horrific salt stains. So distraught, I even tweeted about it the next morning when I woke up to discover the stains were really there and it had not been part of a bad dream. Of course, the Twitterverse came back to me with the suggestion of trying out Boot Rescue. Not going to lie, I did not have high hopes at first and figured that because my suede pumps were not originally protected with a spray and the stains had at that point soaked in for three days, they didn’t have a shot in hell. You have probably figured out by now, the Boot Rescue wipes (which I am now dubbing “Miracle Wipes”) actually worked. In hindsight, I probably should have taken before and after photos the first time I used them on my blue suede beauties, but such is life! I did however wear a pair of black shoes over the weekend, which of course came home soiled from street slush but gave me the opportunity to post my own images for you to see.

I think we all owe Founder Tracey Sloga our first born child for developing this First-World life saving product. These natural, pre-saturated wipes are safe to use on all materials and will also extend the life of your prized footwear possessions from any potential permanent damage. My “Miracle Wipes” can be purchased at Holt Renfrew, Nine West, Target, select Loblaws locations and online for only $6.99. The brand has also conveniently offered individually wrapped wipes, which are available in store only, making it super easy to store in your purse or wallet when on the road.

Want to give Boot Rescue wipes a try? Enter to win 5 packs right now via Twitter by tweeting, “@sashaexeter I want to rid my shoes of salt stains this Winter with @bootrescue #BootRescueSavesShoes” until Thursday January 16th, 2014. 2 lucky winners will be announced via Twitter on Friday January 17th at noon EST. Trust me…you will NOT want to go through another winter without these.
