There’s nothing more sexy to me than a woman in a menswear inspired tuxedo. It seems as though over the last six months tuxedos have resurrected from the fashion ashes and are popping up literally everywhere – Rachel Zoe has even dedicated an entire board on Pinterest aptly titled Tuxedo Revolution and states, “…tuxedo dressing has always been one of the most iconic ways for a woman to dress!” I concur…and let’s not forget about Diane Keaton’s MAJ tux moment at last week’s Golden Globes Awards, she looked stunning – and proves you can’t be too young or too old for this look!

I found this tuxedo back in November at Pink Tartan and needed it on my body immediately, if not sooner! One of the best things about the Pink Tartan brand is that everything is sold in separates, case in point this jacket and pants so they can be worn with other pieces. Thought it would be cool to add a bit of Karl Lagerfeld’s aesthetic and had the talented hands of Shane Coleman re-create the Kaiser’s signature tie with a grosgrain ribbon. And no “Boss B*tch” look would be complete without some statement glasses and these sunnies from Thierry Lasry are perfection!
