It’s officially Spring and a staple in my warm weather wardrobe (how’s that for alliteration) this time of the year is white denim. If it weren’t for Toronto’s horrendous slushy and snow filled winters, I would be hard pressed to wear them year round.  A flattering pair of white denim should be a basic in everyone’s closet – no excuses. It is what I like to refer to as the “Not-So-Basic” basic item that allows for a very casual daytime Summer look but if paired with a few statement pieces, it can quickly be transformed into a chic evening outfit.

If you took a peek inside my closet, my obsession with white denim would be clear; you would find several pairs from Boyfriend, Distressed, Relaxed Fit, Cropped, Shorts and of course the Classic Skinny in my denim dossier. On a recent day date with my bestie Shane, I paired a classic moto vest, an athletic inspired trapeze tee and my go-to pair of second skin white jeans from 7 for All Mankind.
