With the Spring/Summer collections circuit underway, Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week commenced this past Sunday, January 20th. Among the designers set to show during this much anticipated SP/SS 2013 couture season; Christian Dior, Armani Privé, Giorgio Armani, Giambattista Valli, and Chanel. The week debuted with the Atelier Versace show on Sunday and will end on the 23rd with the Maison Martin Margiela show, which I am waiting with baited breathe to see as the house just recently earned the official haute couture appellation by the Chambre Syndicale. On Thursday, fashionphiles will be happy to know the day is dedicated to fine jewelry houses such as Dior, Chanel and Boucheron. Notably absent this season is Givenchy and Alexis Mabille being added to the couture calendar.
