Welcome to my Blog! Happy to have you on the journey.

hello,

Tips Nail Bar

Literally out of nowhere nails have become female’s most important accessory. I’m not really sure when this “Manicure Mania” happened exactly but it seems as though women, and even some men, have become obsessed with expressing themselves through their choice of nail colour, length, and art – myself included. Although, if a stranger were to make an assessment on me based on my current nail situation, they would inaccurately depict me as a “basic bish” as I seem to only wear pale pink shellac like it’s my job and occasionally red when I am feeling in a particularly sassy mood. This I would imagine makes me a nail novice. If you take your nails seriously then you’ve probably already been to Tips Nail Bar. But if you would coin yourself as a nail aficionado and have yet to pay them a visit – you need to stop what you’re doing and book an appointment this very second via their  online booking.

Located in Toronto on the Danforth, owner Leeanne Colley and her meticulously trained nail techs have been serving up nail realness for clients in this space for five years (which has just been recently renovated and looks stunning) and they also lend their expertise to designers during World Mastercard Fashion Week, in addition to some of the country’s biggest fashion mags.  Of course they do the normal mani and pedis for customers but their custom nail art is out of this world and is what brings loyal customers from even outside of the GTA. If you can dream it, these ladies can do it!. I’m totally falling in love with these fashion inspired tips from their instagram account…so much so, I am thinking about broadening my nail horizon during my next visit.

Prices and Services: Manicures range from $18 (for a speedy mani) to $85 (for a set of new tips), while pedicures are between $30-$70. Trust me when I saw the cost is worth every single dollar as they have phenomenal customer service and their attention to detail is unmatched in my opinion. Other aesthetic treatments are also offered…click here for a full list of their services.

Hours of Operation: Sunday & Monday – Closed, Tuesday 10-8, Wednesday 10-3, Thursday & Friday 10-8, Saturday 10-5
